The VTX-101D “Sidewinder” is a Martian counter-TITAN drone. Capable of operating independently if severed from communications, it is often Puppet-Socked by a C&C handler from an off-theater Command Center. It’s primary function is infantry support.
Bio:
Developed for the Olympus Infrastructure Authority by a group of military hypercorps to counter the occasional escaped TITAN death-machine from the TITAN Quarantine Zone, the TQZ is a large area stretching from the smooth plains of Amazonis Planitia (between the Tharsis and Elysium volcanic areas) and southeast to Arsia Mons (just west of Noctis). This zone is known to be crawling with leftover TITAN machinery: warbots, nanoswarms, and other dangerous things. Martian Ranger patrols and Planetary Consortium drones such as the Sidewinder keep a vigilant eye on the Zone’s borders
